Targa Newfoundland 2025 roars back to St. John's on September 13
The thrilling Targa Newfoundland car rally returns to St. John's this September. More than 30 teams from across Canada, the United States, and parts of Europe are competing this year. After two days of training and practice, they will cover close to 2000 km from eastern to central Newfoundland between September 13-18.
The official start of the rally is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. at the Mary Brown's Centre on Saturday, September 13.
Cheer the teams on as they line up and depart for the first stages one-by-one. The rally teams will head to the Southern Shore for the first stages of the event.
After the stages, teams will head to a car show at Hickman Chevrolet on Kenmount Road in St. John's where you can meet the teams and check out the cars.

Since 2002, Targa has attracted hundreds of competitors, volunteers and rally supporters to our beautiful province. This is the 23rd year for the world-famous car rally which will be celebrating the milestone of its 1000th stage.
Be a smart spectator. Think safety!

- Never stand on the outside of a turn.
- Choose high ground.
- Never stand behind red tape.
- Always stand, do not sit down to watch
