This Neighbourhood Connect event takes place during the Province’s Well-Being Week at Markland Park, home to a resident-led community garden. The focus will be on ‘Harvesting Health,’ with activities centered around gardening and nutrition.

What to Expect:

Meet the Windy Meadow gardeners and learn about garlic planting

Learn about community gardening with Food First NL

Talk healthy eating with an NL Health Services nutritionist

Lots of fun games and activities for all ages

Bring your water bottle, wear comfy shoes, and come ready to move, mingle, and celebrate what makes our neighbourhoods great!
