 Get ready for a seriously stringtacular night as the Atlantic String Quartet returns for Recital 1 on November 23 at 7:30pm at the D.F. Cook Recital Hall!

The program opens with Mozart’s bold and innovative “Dissonance” Quartet—an arresting work that pushed boundaries in its time and continues to captivate audiences today. Juan Arriaga’s Quartet No. 3 follows, offering elegance and youthful brilliance from the composer often hailed as the “Spanish Mozart.” The evening concludes with Joaquin Turina’s Serenata, a vivid and expressive piece infused with the warmth and rhythmic vitality of Andalusian musical traditions.

It’s a night of musical curveballs, fiery flavours, and classical brilliance—perfect for string lovers and curious ears alike.
