The Geo team has been busy over the past months, updating the "Our Future and Space" exhibit. We are excited to welcome the public to this special evening event to introduce you to the latest updates and celebrate the hard work of all involved. (There's more to come too! Stay tuned!)
Our friends at the St. John's Centre Royal Astronomical Society of Canada will be joining us at the event, and, weather permitting, will have their telescopes on hand for moon viewing after the talks.
Free admission. No registration required.
5:00-7:00pm: Geo Centre exhibits will be open, with free admission
7:00-7:30pm: Mission Memorial: Q&A Panel with Dr. Ivan Booth, Dr. Penny Morrill, and Dr. Hilding Neilson about their research and contributions to the exhibit updates
7:45-8:45pm: Dr. Susan Redmond, "To the stratosphere and beyond: Chasing cosmic clues with balloon-borne telescopes."
8:50pm: Moon Viewing with the St. John's Centre RASC (weather permitting)
